Come experience what The New York Times called the ‘top play of 2016’ at the Kennedy Center’s Theater Lab from Saturday, January 7th to Sunday, January 22nd. ‘The Gabriels Trilogy: Election year in the Life of One Family’ is a three-play cycle that chronicles a family reuniting three times across an election year.
Written by Tony award winner Richard Nelson, this highly-acclaimed play is filled of history, politics, culture, and art. Family members gather around the table in the house they grew up in to share witty remarks and revealing the human impact of a year historical for many Americans. This experience uses the same ticket to attend all three chapters, and spans the course of eight hours and 15 minutes. Patrons can participate in the marathon by viewing all three acts back to back on a weekend (with one hour between each show) or watch each play one day at a time.
