Owner and chef Ignazio Bonnani has worked in the DC restaurant industry for 15 years, and in that time, his eatery, Tesoro, has become a neighborhood favorite for family dinners, romantic evenings, business lunches, and take-out service.
Menu favorites include the crispy fried calamari antipasta, the delicately seasoned tortellini soup, and traditional entrees with a slight modern twist, like Tesoro's signature chicken entree, which consists of lightly breaded chicken topped with prosciutto, tomato, and mozzarella and served with a rich marsala sauce.
