The 18th Annual Food Festival of the Americas celebrates the culture and cuisines of a huge number of Central American and South American countries. On Sunday, July 17th from 11a.m. to 5 p.m., you can dine on food from countries like the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Haiti and Venezuela at this free outdoor festival.
Throughout the day, there will be live music from musicians and acts representing many of the cultures of the Americas, including Argentina, Bolivia and Mexico. Enter raffles for various prizes, such as two round-trip tickets to Mexico, two round-trip Amtrak tickets, and Apple iPads and iPhones. Best of all, you can also sample delicious dishes from other countries, honor all of these amazing cultures, and expand your knowledge of international cuisine
Though the Food Festival of the Americas is free, all donations from the event will go to organizations that help women and children in the Americas.
