Washington, DC boasts one of the most diverse culinary scenes in the country, which is a good enough excuse to go out to eat any night of the year. However, a few times a year, you have an extra incentive thanks to Restaurant Week. DC’s Winter Restaurant Week is returning on January 14th for its week-long run through January 20th, and it brings affordable pricing to more than 100 eateries around the city.
Each restaurant offers special three-course prix fixe menus for dinner, and some offer lunch and brunch, too. For lunch or brunch, the meal comes at a fixed price of $22, and for dinner, it’s just $35. For many of these restaurants, this is a major discount, so Winter Restaurant Week is the perfect time to plan a special date night. Practically every neighborhood in the District boasts a few participating establishments, from French eatery Mintwood Place in Adams Morgan to Mexican restaurant Mi Vida in The Wharf. Peruse the large list and reserve a table during Restaurant Week.
