If you’ve tried either of the other Immigrant Food locations in the city, you know what a treat it is that they’ve opened a third location close to home. Their newest eatery is located in the Franklin School Building, where the Planet World Museum is housed. Award-winning Chef Enrique Limardo is bringing international flavors to one menu so there’s a little bit of something for everyone.
Appetizers feature Mediterranean mezze dip trio with harissa hummus or the Indian-inspired Taj Mahal chicken sliders with Asian slaw. Bowl options transport you to Africa with West African gumbo or Iran with a Persian plants and peas bowl with goji berries and kalamata olive dressing. Then you have a Cubano sandwich from Havana and a banh mi sandwich from Vietnam. And finally, sweet Argentinian alfajores for dessert. Be sure to try the Agua de Jamaica, hibiscus-infused water from Mexico, to complete your meal. A worldly meal that will open your eyes and your taste buds to cultures from around the world!
