Taqueria Local is the embodiment of owner Giovanni Orellana's lifelong dream to run a restaurant that brings people together for food, friendship, and laughter. Orellana's vision is also community-oriented, and he shares part of the restaurant's profits with charitable organizations every year. He also sources all ingredients from organic, humane farms, and is committed to paying his staff a living wage.
All of this seems pretty good, of course, but what about the food? Yelp reviewers give it a thumbs up, calling it tasty, affordable, and authentic. The menu includes a variety of traditional tacos (al pastor, carnitas, and barbacoa, for example), along with plenty of shareable dishes like guacamole, pico de gallo, and queso gabacho to sate your appetite. Keep in mind that this place also runs some great specials, like $2 off all burritos Monday through Friday after 4 pm, and all day on Saturday, as well as $3 happy hour Coronas and $6 margaritas.
