Located just under 3 miles from Cathedral Commons apartments, The Mansion on O Street is a hotel, restaurant, museum and antique shop rolled all into one.
Inside, the mansion is one of the quirkiest places you’ll find in D.C. There are many different rooms to explore, and a reported 70 different secret passageways the guests are encouraged to seek out and open. There are paintings and trinkets covering nearly every surface, as well as lifelike wax figures of icons like Bob Dylan and J. Edgar Hoover found throughout the different rooms. The mansion is available for rent for private events like weddings and holiday parties, and also for special holiday meals. Guests can take a self-guided tour or participate in one of the other themed-tours like the daily breakfast tour, the champagne tour, or the Mustache Madness Treasure Hunt.
