Chef Sammy Davis won the Food Network television show Chopped, and his latest venture is just as exciting. Catch 22 is Chef Davis’ new upscale bar and restaurant, and his soulful versions of seafood classics are already drawing rave reviews.
Look for whole red snapper with sweet and spicy chili sauce, deep-fried crab legs with waffles, and a whole lobster tail perched atop a bubbling dish of mac and cheese. There are a couple of meat dishes on the menu, perhaps most notably the Caribbean jerk lamb lollipops with garlic soy sauce. Catch 22 is open for lunch or dinner Tuesday through Saturday, and serves a memorable brunch on Sundays. All of the same dishes are available for Sunday brunch, as well as a few breakfast favorites made even better with an infusion of fresh seafood. Catch 22 is bound to gain popularity, so make plans to stop in before reservations are hard to get. Private dining and venue space is also available for personal and corporate events.
